The Wrestling Lab is a supplemental wrestling training center focused on technical development, match strategy, confidence, and mindset. Our goal is to help wrestlers improve while continuing to represent and compete for their school or local wrestling program.
Train at The Lab. Wrestle for your school.
Our programs are currently designed for youth and middle school wrestlers ages 7 and older. Wrestlers are grouped by experience and ability so they can train in an environment appropriate for their development.
No. The Wrestling Lab is a training center, not a competing wrestling club. We do not replace your school, youth club, or community program. We provide additional training to help wrestlers become better competitors for the teams they already represent.
Absolutely not. We encourage wrestlers to remain involved with their existing school or community wrestling programs. The Wrestling Lab is designed to supplement—not replace—team practices.
Developmental sessions focus on building strong fundamentals, improving technique, and developing confidence.
Performance sessions are designed for more experienced wrestlers who are ready for a faster training pace, more advanced technique, situational wrestling, and higher-level competition preparation.
Placement is based on experience and readiness rather than age alone.
Our training series are intentionally kept small, with a maximum of approximately 26 wrestlers per session. Limiting enrollment allows our coaches to provide more individual instruction, feedback, and attention than wrestlers typically receive in a large practice.
Sessions may include:
Technical instruction and drilling
Position-specific development
Situational wrestling
Match strategy
Live wrestling
Individual coaching and feedback
Mindset and confidence development
The goal is not simply to get wrestlers more mat time—it is to make that mat time purposeful.
Yes. Mindset development is an important part of The Wrestling Lab. Wrestlers learn how to approach competition, handle adversity, build confidence, set goals, and develop habits that translate to better performance.
Our training programs also incorporate the Wrestling Lab Mindset Curriculum and Mindset Journal.
Yes. Match analysis is incorporated into our training model. Coaches can review match footage to identify technical mistakes, strategic opportunities, and areas that should become priorities during training.
No. Tournament coaching should remain with the wrestler's school or club coaches. Our role is to help prepare athletes so they are more successful when competing for their teams. We are not desinged to be a travel program and want to encourage the athlete to be comfortable with the school coaches and teammates.
Yes. Private and small-group lessons are available separately and provide more individualized instruction based on a wrestler's specific needs.
Yes. The Wrestling Lab will offer Saturday clinics, specialty camps, and other training opportunities throughout the year. These may focus on specific techniques, positions, experience levels, or groups of wrestlers.
Yes. Many camps and clinics will be open to wrestlers who are not currently enrolled in a Wrestling Lab training series, subject to available space.

Wrestling shoes
Athletic clothing

Any required wrestling gear
A positive attitude and willingness to learn
If you are unsure which session, camp, or training option is the best fit, contact us. We can help determine the appropriate training environment based on your wrestler's age, experience, current skill level, and goals.
We combine small-group technical instruction, situational wrestling, match strategy, video analysis, and mindset development to help wrestlers identify weaknesses, build strengths, and become more confident competitors.
